Sekisui House To Build Japan’s First Zero Energy Apartment in Nagoya City

Japanese housing developer Sekisui House will construct the nation’s first zero energy apartment building in Nagoya City. The three story mid-sized apartments will have luxury twelve units with completion expected in 2019. 

The Grand Maison is to have various energy-saving technologies such as LED lightings and double glazed windows filled with argon gas which can double thermal insulation performance of openings. With the 4 kw PV system and fuel cell ENEFARM, Sekisui will realize the first ZEH condominium in Japan.
